WOMEN LITERACY PROJECT

Pastor Zerayia Agnes Bangura is the coordinator for the Women Literacy Project in Sierra Leone. The women literacy project is a part of the Sierra Leone Literacy Project (Literacy & Evangelism Sierra Leone) which is aiming at transforming Sierra Leone through literacy by raising the literacy rate from 39% to 70% by 2015. Literacy & Evangelism Sierra Leone is registered with the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender & Children Affairs.

LITERACY AWARENESS SEMINAR

Gregory Bangura had a three-day literacy awareness seminar with local church leaders in Mile 91, a town that is predominantly Temne and Muslim.

1st. International Primer Construction Institute

The 1st. International Primer Construction Institute began Monday, November 1, 2010 in Bo, Sierra Leone. The Institute is attended by 13 participants from 5 nations:Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria and Sierra Leone, the host nation. The International Primer Construction Institute is a ministry of Literacy & Evangelism International.

International Literacy Training Institute 2011

Literacy & Evangelism International will host an International Literacy Training Institute on 9-21 May 2011 in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa to train Christian Literacy teachers.
